The kit is not an approval element in itself; it only serves to attach an existing headlight.

Since an original CB650R headlight is approved, theoretically we are within the regulations.

However, there is some legal ambiguity surrounding headlights, turn signals, and mirrors sold as approved. In theory, they should be installed in the same locations and with the same spacing as the original parts.

Particular care has been taken regarding the alignment of the light beam and the fixings, but we cannot 100% guarantee that the modification is authorized.

Note: Some insurers, such as Mutuelle des Motards, now allow modifications related to motorcycles (cafe racers, etc.) to be insured.

The installation is completely reversible, allowing you to return to the original configuration at any time if needed.

As of today (May 2025), the motorcycle MOT mainly checks that a headlight is properly adjusted and compliant (dipped/main beam, beam alignment, etc.).

And if in doubt, the original can be reinstalled in 20 minutes - it's plug & play both ways.

The V1 kit is fully reversible, all original parts are retained. The V3 is also reversible. As for the V2 (modified headlight bracket), it is reversible but takes longer to put back in place (headlight bracket needs changing).

If you choose an option that only includes the kit without a headlight, you can purchase the Honda CB650R headlight (part number 33100-MKY-D51) from your Honda dealer or online. Indicative value: €617.40.

Allow 1 to 2 hours for a careful installation, with the instructions and/or the tutorial video.

V1 and V2 kits are compatible with the 2023 and 2024 Honda Hornet 750 (CB750 Hornet). The V3 kit will cover the 2025-2026 model years.

You send us your original headlight bracket, we modify it, and send it back to you: save money compared to the complete version.
