The kit is not an homologation element in itself, it is just used to fix an existing headlight.
Since an original CB650R headlight is approved, theoretically we are within the limits.
There is, however, a certain legal vagueness surrounding lighthouses,
indicators and mirrors sold as approved. In theory, they should
be installed in the same locations and with the same spacing as
the original parts.
Particular care has been taken regarding beam alignment
lights as well as the fixings, but we cannot guarantee 100% that modification is allowed.
Note: Some insurers such as Mutuelle des Motards now allow
to ensure a modification related to his motorcycle (cafe racer and co.)
The installation is fully reversible, allowing you to return to the original configuration at any time if necessary.
To date (May 2025), the motorcycle MOT (in France) mainly checks whether you have a
headlights properly adjusted and compliant (low/high beam, beam alignment,
etc.)
And if in doubt, the original can be put back in 20 minutes - it's plug & play both ways.
For now it is only designed for the Hornet 750 (Phase 1) with a CB650R type 2019-2023 headlight.

The headlight is slightly detached from the OEM mouting plate (original
mounting plate for the screen and headlight) to avoid having to cut it.
This arrangement, while maintaining an adjusted light beam, allows
nothing to be cut or modified and to return to the original quickly,
maintaining the resale value of the motorcycle.
The fairings then help to fill the space by adding a stylish touch
and providing a little more protection from bad weather and gravel.
